STEAM LITERACY STORY TELLING ADVENTURE

Using picture books to teach students about becoming a problem finding sleuth. We know about problem solving, but how do we teach the key skills to identify problems and develop strategies on how to solve them? Taking a journey through a delicious story, The Noisy Night by Diana Hendry, we craft a programme around what you need in your class at your level. This learning dovetales directly into your Literacy progammes smoothly and students are highly engaged in this authentic approach to integrate STEAM.

Tracey Kinloch Jones facilitates PLD with teachers and students all over New Zealand. She received the Royal Society Alumni award for her work with Science and specialises in STEAM integration and localised curriculum.
