  1. Create interactive, collaborative
    and engaging learning experiences.

  2. Cater for different learning styles.

  3. Give students agency to drive their own learning.

  4. The world is changing. Fast. How might we prepare our students for the unknown future?

  5. Connect students with the real world and break down the four walls of the classroom.

  6. Encourage our students to be creators of solutions and outcomes with digital technologies not just consumers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long has Inspire been running?
This is our 4th Inspire conference! We love seeing teachers sharing their passions, ideas, and real classroom experiences.

Why is the conference bering postponed till 2023? Why not go virtual?
We think finding like-minded people, and the kōrero and connections that go on in-between the workshops are so important and harder to facilitate in a virtual environment. This is why we would rather postpone till we can ensure a safe kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face) event.

Is the conference for all types of teachers?
Absolutely! If you are keen to upskill, be inspired, and learn from other educators this is totally for you.
We have breakouts for primary, intermediate, secondary, specialist teachers and leaders.

What kinds of workshops and breakouts will there be?

Some of the breakouts from our previous conferences have included STEAM, design thinking, robotics, Minecraft, computational thinking, coding, digital citizenship, leading change in your school, designing in-house support for your teachers, learning tools for inclusive classrooms, project-based learning, creating music and media in the classroom, Seesaw for agency, Microsoft and Google tools, and many, many more!

I have something to share - can I present a breakout?
Sure thing! Register you interest below. The conference is free for presenters.

I have more questions - who do I contact?
